Two years ago, we got married on New Years Eve, on December 31st 2005. This year, we spent our Anniversary (and our New Years Eve) at our friends, Jarrod & Kristen's Wedding Reception! Jarrod and Kristen got married in July in Jamaica, and showed their Wedding Video before being presented onto the dance floor for their Wedding Reception on New Years Eve. Two years ago, we spent our night surrounded by people we love, and this New Years was no different. We had a blast with everyone, and are very happy for the genuine love that Jarrod & Kristen share. During the toast, the best man said that Kristen's favorite smell is Jarrod's pillow. That is love.
At midnight, we all ventured out to the dance floor with our glasses of champagne, to sing Auld Lang Syne, kiss, and dance. However, after this, we were in for a surprise. Jarrod and Kristen and the DJ had everyone sing "Happy Anniversary" to us. Beth cried and Eric kissed her. We were touched. This was their time in the spot light and they honored us. Touched beyond words. It was a very fun night!!!
The past two years have definitely brought more adventure than either of us ever imagined, but also more blessings. Here is to 222 more...
