Take me Home, Country Roads...

Every year during Labor Day weekend, my Great Uncle hosts a Chambers Family Reunion and Neighborhood Gathering, appropriately named "Louiefest"! We have been several times, but this year was special! Paige's middle name, Chambers, was after my Momaw (Edith Chambers Ferrell). It was great to spend time with my Momaw's sisters, brother, and other family members and introduce them to Paige.

It was beautiful weather in the Appalachian (Smoky) Mountains in Logan, West Virginia! We had great conversation, home-cooking, a pig roast, and some real bluegrass music. We enjoyed every minute of it.

I love her picnic outfit! And that pic of you, Paige and your dad in front of the house - it's like from a storybook. Isn't it fun showing them off?
